He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Enoch Colwell and Gertrude Colwell; his children, George Colwell (Julie), Theresia Pogue (Rick Hunt), Bill Colwell (Jill) and Cathy Jones (Frank); his grandchildren, Angel Arnold, Tim Colwell, Zakk Colwell, Meghan Jones, Justin Colwell and Logan Colwell; his great grandchildren, Hunter, Waylon, River Colwell, Gabby, Hayden Ringeisen, Sianna, Tyler Arnold, Margot, Lawrence Colwell, Owen Martin and Cooper Wyant; his wife Lillie Turner; and his grandson Michael.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Miami County Military Rites Team.
