He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Detroit Richie and Thelma Joyce Richie; his wife Claris Ann Lesley Richie; his children, Tami Baker (Jason), Michael Richie Logansport (Tammy) and Jayme Shackleford; his siblings, Marilyn Miller (Vernon), Peggy Miller and Bobby Richie (Debbie); his daughter Tina Birchfield; his sister Patricia Munds; and his brother-in-law Fred Miller. He was also cherished by seventeen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren.
