She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Comer and Mary Comer; her husband Thomas D. Lewis; her son Thomas B. Lewis; and her sisters, Jo Inglehearn and Sue Gilliland.

She is survived by: her sons, David Lewis (Pam) and Brett Lewis (Sandy); her grandchildren, Matthew (Indianapolis), Brandon (LaFountaine), Jeffrey, Katie of Oak Harbor, WA, Jessie (Indianapolis), Sarah, Matt Fuller (Peru) and Brad of Portland, OR; her great grandchildren, Maddie Lewis and Nina Fuller; her sisters, Lyn Pierce of Marion, IN and Jane Holden (Greensburg); and her close friend Sue Conger.
