He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Conner and Florence McCloud Conner; his stepmother Frances Conner; his siblings, Rita Doran and Larry Conner; and his stepsister Phyllis Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Veronica "Dollie" Struble; his children, Mary Wagner (Mark) of Indianapolis, Katherine McHenry (Mark) of Indianapolis and John Conner (Missy) of Kokomo; his brothers, Bert Conner (Linda) of Oxford, IN and Ronald Conner (Barbara) of Napa, ID; his stepbrother Victor Conner; his grandchildren, Benjamin McHenry, Kristen Breedlove, Ryan Conner (Allyson), Elizabeth Walls (Jordan) and Samuel McHenry; and his great grandchildren, Juliet Breedlove, Archer Breedlove, Brooklyn Walls, Paige Walls and Alice Jones.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made through the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home to the St. Charles Catholic Cemetery or Wounded Warrior Project.
