With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bill Gilleland of Peru, Indiana, born in Brilliant, Alabama, who passed away on November 10, 2020 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bill Gilleland to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred V. Gilleland and Ludie Gilleland (Strickland); his former wife Sue Comer; his spouse Inis Oaks; his daughter Tina Gilleland; and his siblings, Don Gilleland, Martha Tucker and Rose Walker.
He is survived by: his children, Terry Gilleland of Greentown, Don Gilleland (Rhonda) of Peru and Dan Gilleland of Greentown; and his grandchildren, Tiffany Linstrom (Andrew), Joshua Gilliland (Brittany) and Kristina Gilleland. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
