He was predeceased by: his parents, Tommie Powlen and Helen Powlen (Overmyer). He is survived by: his significant other Pam Goodnight of Peru; his son Jason Goodnight of Peru; and his sisters, Carol Chesley (Alan) of Lucerne, Julia Hatfield (Tim) of Upland and Sandra Gunter (Tim Osborn) of Logansport. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
