With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alvina Archuleta of Peru, Indiana, born in Monte Vista, Colorado, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 28, 2024 at the age of 91. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pete Leiva and Nellie Leiva; her former spouses, Fred Salaz and Arnolado Archuleta; her husband Archy; her sons, Fred and Kohn Salaz; and her granddaughter Heather Walker.
She is survived by: her children, Herb Salaz of Peru, Desi Salaz (Debi) of Greenwood, Debra Hagan (Todd) of Denver, IN, Adrian Archuleta (Jennifer) of Peru, Denise Walker (Bruce) of Decatur, GA and Felicia Archuleta (Tammy) of Logansport; and her daughter-in-law Gail Salaz of Peru. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made through the funeral home to St. Charles Catholic Church or Miami County Helping Hands.
