He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia Shilling; his parents, Beatrice Irene Bowman and Glen Hedrick Sr.; his stepmother Willie Hedrick; his brothers, Glen Hedrick Jr. and Richard Hedrick (Dick); and his half-brothers, Arthur Reavis and Frank Reavis.
He is survived by: his children, Alvin Ray Hedrick Jr. of Colorado, Jimmy Hedrick of Peru and Tina Hedrick of Peru; his grandchildren, Destiny Chantel Wingard Hann, Brittany Hedrick, Anthony Blair (Tony), Dalyn Quin, Desirai Quin and Freedom Rose Hann; and his sister Nancy Hedrick Newcom of Peru.
