He is survived by: his parents, Michael Bates of Peru and Angelena Bates (Wiser) of Rochester; his pets, Bella, Mya, Rosie and Poppea; his uncle Bob Wiser of Macy; his grandmother Barbara Crim of Indianapolis; his sisters, Alexandria Doty of Rochester, Avalynn Rose Bates of Rochester and Bronlyn Allyce Bates of Denver, Colorado.; and also Loui.

In Aidan's honor, memorial contributions may be given to his family to offset funeral expenses.

This young man was, anything a best friend could ask for. 2 days after knowing aidan, we were like brothers, and we always will be no matter what. And after everything he's done for me, ill never get the chance to pay him back. With his loss, we will get stronger, and we'll do it together. Rest In Peace bub. We love you.”
