He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert L. Hicks and Ethel Hicks (Martin); and his siblings, Dulen Hicks, Gordon Hicks (Cheryl), Bunis Hicks, Ruby Lay and Ella Mae Lay.
He is survived by: his spouse Lexine Hicks (Baker); his children, R. Roger Madden (Judy) of Macy, Donna Walsh (Randy) of Platte City, MO, Brenda Boyll of Kokomo and Linda Imhoff (Vern) of Peru; and his siblings, Landin Hicks of Peru, Melvis Hicks (Barbara) of Logansport and Azaleen Baker (Earnest) of Peru. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Due the COVID-19 health crisis, the public is required to wear a face mask when attending visitation and/or funeral service.
