He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Dean W. Smith, Don Hackl (Bonnie), Carolyn Warner (Gene) and Gene Thompson; his uncle Dale Smith; his aunts, Tammy Smith and Shelley Smith; his cousins, Brandalyn, Lacey Pomaibo and Jonathan Cole Mitchell; and his great-grandparents, Clarence, Marion Porter and Arthur Ericson.
He is survived by: his parents, Brian Joseph Hackl of Wisconsin and Eddie Thompson of Perrysville, Indiana; his siblings, Matthew Rohowetz of Wisconsin, Michael Rohowetz (Jenna) of Wisconsin, Jennefer Thoreson (Beau) of Wisconsin, Ciarra Thompson of Arizona, Tamela Hackl of Cayuga, Kameron Thompson of Illinois and Danielle Thompson of Perrysville; his godparents, Valerie Howard of Missouri and Jerry Kaiser of Wisconsin; his nieces and nephews, Brayden Corey Walker, Lakota, Haiden, Hunter Thompson, Brooklyn and Macie Rohowetz; his grandparents, Phyllis Smith of Florida and Gary C. Porter of Wisconsin; his aunts and uncles, Pam Sole (Tracy) of Wisconsin, Douglas Smith (Sunshine) of Wisconsin, James Conrad (Donna) of Newport, Jami Garver (David) of Michigan and Tracy Mitchell (Keith) of Alabama; his great-uncles, Larry Howard of Perrysville, Ray Porter (Kristi) and Tom Porter (Christina) of Wisconsin; his cousins, Kyle Kitsemble (Megan), Ashley Kitsemble of Wisconsin and Andrew Howard of Kingman; and his close friend Katelyn Thomas. He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Cayuga Christian Church (406 S Logan St, Cayuga, IN 47928). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
