He was predeceased by: his daughter Michelle Bennington; his brother Mark Bennington; and his stepfather Ned Paxson. He is survived by: his parents, Norma Faye Russell Paxson of Pennville, IN and Tom L. Bennington (Linda); his brothers, Bryce Paxson of Pennville, IN, Tim Vaught, Tom Vaught and Joseph Bennington of Anderson, IN; his children, Eric Bennington of Portland, IN, Matt Bennington (Lindsey) of Uhrichville, OH and Josie Hall of Decatur, IN; and his grandchildren, Brooks Matthew Bennington, Knox Rowan Bennington and Hayes Shepherd Bennington.
