He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elza Bone and Mary Bone (Wiley); his children, Matthew Bone (Amanda) of Pennville and Melinda Hopkins of Leo; his sister Jane Cummins (Dick) of Portland; his son-in-law Chip Teegarden; his grandchildren, Chelsea Teegarden, Hunter Teegarden, Jarran Teegarden, Kennedi Teegarden, Daniel Hopkins, Amanda Hopkins, Reagan Hopkins, John Harris and Katie Bone; his daughter Michele Teegarden; and his grandson Jordan Teegarden.

Memorials can be made to the Pennville Public Library or the IDC Restaurant (for food donations).
