He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl B. Govert and Gloria Holmes Govert; and his brothers, Earl S. Govert, Ronald Govert Sr., Donald Govert and Gregory Govert.
He is survived by: his son Jeramy Govert (Becci) of Dallas, TX; his grandson Caleb Govert of Dewitt, IA; his siblings, Mona Rhoda (Kevin) of Bennington, NE, Cindee Potesta, Sr. (Ralph), Mark Govert (Tyann) of Crown Point, IN, James Govert (Sherri Platt) of Plymouth, IN and Gloria Jean Dornsife (Peter) of Cranberry Township, PA; and his sisters-in-law, Barbara Young of Franklin, NC and Sandra Govert of Griffith, IN. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
