It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ted Allen Mitchener of Pendleton, Indiana, born in Phoenix, Arizona, who passed away on October 4, 2023, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Gilbert and Leona Elinor "Ellie" Mitchener; his sister-in-law Karen Brown; his father-in-law Richard Forsythe; and his brother-in-law Brett Forsythe.

He is survived by: his wife Valerie Ann Mitchener; his sons, Scott Allen Mitchener (Angela) and Ryan Thomas Mitchener (Erin); his grandchildren, Noah, Leyton, Caleigh, Caleb and Clara Mitchener; his brothers, Jeff Mitchener (Joan), Steve Mitchener (Holly) and John Mitchener (Laurie); his mother-in-law Elsie Forsythe; and his brothers, Roger Forsythe, John Forsythe (Susan Pacheco) and Myron Brown (Kathy).

Memorial contributions may be made to Freedom International Ministries, Ball State Christian Campus House, or Bethany Christian Church.
