She was predeceased by: her father Jack W. Hayes; and her mother-in-law Alice L. Karkosky. She is survived by: her husband Ron Karkosky; her children, Amber Karkosky-Litten (Chad), Andrew Karkosky (Lindsey), Abby Schnepp (Brian) and Akara Karkosky (Jeremy Adams); her grandchildren, Myranda, Brayden, Makenna, McKale, Reis, Max, Ava, Marlee, Maddy, Grey, Trystan, Jack and Harper; her mother Mattie Hayes; and her siblings, Sharon Miller (Don Hertzinger) and David Hayes (Shelly). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Eastview Nazarene Church (2552 E 200 S, Anderson, IN 46017). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
