She was predeceased by: her parents, Obie Poole and Goldie Poole; her husband Charles E. Painter; her son Thomas Ray Painter; her siblings, Ruth, Irene, Ted, Patsy and Janie; and her son-in-law Rick Hilligoss.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Painter (Linda) and Cathy Anne Painter Hilligoss; her grandchildren, Stacy, Kelly, Byron, Kyle and Tia; and her siblings, Margie, Eddie, Clyde, Essie and Rick. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Anderson Museum of Art or the Animal Protection League.
