He was predeceased by: his father Henry Slaughter. He is survived by: his wife Shirley J. Slaughter (Kuhns); his mother Ruth Slaughter (Reynolds) of Mitchell; his children, Amanda Safford (Scott) of Pendleton and Christopher Slaughter (Brandi) of Minneapolis, Minnesota; his grandchildren, Kennedy Safford, Cooper Safford, Hayden Slaughter and Parker Slaughter; and his sisters, Sharon Williams (Dave) of Mitchell, Martha Young (Mike) of Bloomington and Cheryl White (Gary) of Mitchell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
