It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nicole Marie Hays of Pendleton, Indiana, born in Angola, Indiana, who passed away on September 22, 2021, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Erik Hays; her children, Riley and Austin; her parents, David Ballenger and Patricia Ballenger (Clark); her sister Angie Ballenger; her parents-in-law, Lou Ann Jameson (Steve) and Dave Hays (Debbie); her sisters-in-law, Carrie Whitaker (Trent) and Kelly Newkirk (Andrew); her nephews, Devon and Luke Whitaker; and her close friends, Amber Shupe and Troy McKinley. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
