Juanita Elston Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Juanita Elston of Pendleton, Indiana, born in Vevay, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 6, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Boggs and Hazel Boggs (Sigmon); her husband Lawrence "Dillion" Elston; her daughter Damita Elston; her brother Larry Boggs (Janet); her niece Jennifer Lynn Boggs; her nephew Grant Boggs; and her great-nephew Trevor Kyle Boggs.
She is survived by: her daughters, Dee Ann DeShon (Jim) of Pendleton, IN and Rev. Debbie Elston Harmon (Robert) of Muncie, IN; her grandchildren, Robbie Ferguson of Plainfield and Anthony Ferguson of Indianapolis, IN; her stepgrandsons, Mathew DeShon (Taina) of Lexington, KY, Brandon DeShon (Brittany) of St. Charles, MO and Bryan DeShon of Elizabethtown, KY; and her brother Jerry Boggs (Linda) of Bonita Springs, FL. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home (208 Ferry St, Vevay, IN 47043). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Switzerland Baptist Church.
