He was predeceased by: his parents, John William Owens, Jr. and Marian R. Wood (Hart); his stepfather Bill Wood; and his sister Nancy Lynn Owens. He is survived by: his wife Kristi Owens (Maxwell); his children, Nathon John Owens of Pendleton, Brandon William Owens (Ashley) of Pendleton and Julie Williams (Justin) of Pendleton; his sister Julie Walker (Dannie) of Gulfport, Mississippi; his grandchildren, Kase Owens, Kemper Owens, Jobie Owens, Bennett Owens, Kennedy Williams and Owen Williams; his niece Molly Holliman; and his nephew Kameron Walker.
