He was predeceased by: his parents, Bearl Zimmerman and Evelyn Alden Zimmerman (Voss); his son Ron Alden; and his sister Priscilla Shaw. He is survived by: his sons, Rodney Alden (Carol) of Pendleton, IN and Rick Alden (Brenda) of Cicero, IN; his siblings, Bill Alden (Lavonnia) of Spencer, IN, Greg Alden (Beth) of Arcadia, IN, Judy Held of Brownsburg, IN, Kathy Hasty of Marshall, NC, Jane Chance (Ron) of Cicero, IN and Linda Travison (John) of Arcadia, IN; his grandchildren, Nicole Prater, Sarah Goodrick, Matt Alden, Rachel Alden and Eric Alden; and his great grandchildren, Julian, Izzy Goodrick and Sophia Roop.
