She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Ballard and Leroy Ballard; her son Howard "Bud" Edward Wardwell; and her siblings, Howard Ballard, Edward Ballard, Patricia Jackson, Margaret Durr, Robert Ballard, Lula Kelly and Thomas Ballard.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lana Wardwell Barton of Pendleton, IN, Cathy Wardwell Brown (Clete) of Anderson, IN, Carolyn Toney Fann (Kevin) and Jennifer Toney Sterling of Winter Park, FL; her daughter-in-law Paula Berry Wardwell of Anderson, IN; and her grandchildren, Jason Barton, D. J. Barton, Mike Wardwell, Dennis Wardwell, Andrew Daugherty, Patrick Daugherty, Chris Wardwell, Charlotte Wardwell Buckley, Alana Daugherty, Jacob Thomas, Elijah Thomas and Erica Sterling. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
