She was predeceased by: her son Ian Gavin Messer; her sister Christina Tomlin; and her mother-in-law Carol Gray. She is survived by: her husband Jason; her parents, Darrell and Phyllis (Thompson); her children, Torrin Messer (Felicia Balderrama) of Indianapolis, Collin Messer (Brandon Clevenger) of Anderson, Jason Gray of Anderson, Jacob Gray of Anderson, Kierstin Messer (Jace Longere) of Carmel and Alivia Gray of Pendleton; her siblings, Steven Tomlin of Shelbyville and Wendy Tomlin of Connersville; her sister-in-law Staci Gray-Allen (Adam Allen); her nieces and nephews, Hudson of Lafayette and Finley Allen of Lafayette; and her close friend Heaven Conner.
