He was predeceased by: his parents, William G. Long and Cornelia C. Long (Willen); and his siblings, Paul Long, Bill Long, Bob Long, Charlie Long, Mary Long and Ruth Wolfe.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Donna Butler (Stephen), Marcia Moore (Ed), Christine Williams, Cheryl Wood (Chris), Tony Held (Carol) and Doug Held (Terri); and his sister Nora Loudermilk. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
