He was predeceased by: his parents, Emory Burke and Flo Marie Burke (Castor); his wife Barbara Burke (Weatherford); his brothers, Vonzel Burke, Kenneth Burke, Emory "Jay" Burke, Jerry Burke and Lester Burke; and his son-in-law Steve Castor.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Castor (Don Webb) of Pendleton and Gary Burke (Carla) of Anderson; his grandchildren, Devin Castor of Shirley, Ryan Castor (Julie) of Indianapolis, Jason Castor (Robin) of Marion, Melissa Baum (Doug) of Irvine and Julie McCord (Brad) of Noblesville; his great grandchildren, Hannah Marie, Eric Dean Castor, Katelyn Michelle, Lauren Elizabeth, Andrew Jacob Castor, Payton Lauren Baum and Brennan Allan McCord; his sister-in-law Becky Burke; and his nieces, Lana Kaye Beaudoin (Greg) and Pamela Benzenbauer (Keith).
