With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Jean Wilson (Pendleton, Indiana), born in Olive Hill, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 15, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Betty Jean departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Betty Jean. Though Betty Jean may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Delbert Bruce and Jennie Mae Henderson (Sammons); her son Brian Scott Hilton; and her siblings, Hubert Henderson and Nettie Foust.
She is survived by: her sons, Bruce Hilton (Leah), David Hilton (Tara) and Gary Hilton; and her brothers, Lester Henderson and Donald Henderson. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Lahm Chapel (211 E State St, Pendleton, IN 46064). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
