He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie R. Shetterley and Flora Ann Shetterley; and his siblings, Rusty Shetterley, Jeff Shetterley, Ginger Rawley and Danny Shetterley.

He is survived by: his wife Judy Rebecca Shetterley (Edens); his children, Marsanne Kunzer (Joe), Mike Shetterley (Melanie), Joe Shetterley (Lisa) and Ted Shetterley (Jessica); and his horse Sammy. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 12-great grandchildren.
