He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Wells and Bertha Claretta Bateman Wells; his brother Lowell Wells; and his grandson Jacob Abner. He is survived by: his children, Aaron Wells of Salem, Anita Abner of Vallonia and Rachel Young of New Albany; and his siblings, David Keith Wells, Richard Lee Wells, Barbara Ernestine Robarge of Corydon and Lois Vaughn Thomas of Columbus. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
