He is survived by: his wife Susan Hurt; his children, Bobby Ray Hurt (Vickie Cooper) of Paxton, Anthony Michael Hurt (Penny) of Rankin, Charles Hurt of Pekin, Robert Hurt of Pekin and Morgan Hurt of Danville, Illinois; his sisters, Patsy Holland of Washington, Cindy Long (Steve) of North Vernon and Roberta Montgomery (Charlie) of Seymour; his grandchildren, Shawn Hurt of Rankin, Josh Hurt of Hoopeston, Brooke Hasbargen of Hoopeston, Braxton Hurt of Hoopeston and Michael Hurt of Paxton, Illinois; and his great grandchildren, Ace of Hoopeston, Illinois., Grayson of Hoopeston, Illinois. and Tyson Hasbargen of Hoopeston, Illinois..
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home (420 S State St, North Vernon, IN 47265). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at the Vernon Cemetery (315 S Pike St, Vernon, IN 47282).
Memorials in honor of Kenny may be made through the funeral home to the American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
