He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Taylor and Mayme Sampson (Brockman); his wife Nancy Taylor (Carroll); and his granddaughter Havannah Balentine. He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle Balentine (Richard) and Patricia Taylor (Bill Batchelor); his siblings, Cosby Taylor, Norris Taylor, Mick Taylor, Marion Taylor and Brenda Bennett; his granddaughters, Elizabeth Knuckles and Lisa Batchelor; and his great grandchild Esmerelda Knuckles.
