It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Eugene Souder of Pekin, Indiana, born in Salem, Indiana, who passed away on October 7, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Souder and Jean Souder Kay (Applegate); his grandparents, Jesse, Cleon Souder, Ruth and Raymond Applegate; and his stepfather Victor Kay.
He is survived by: his children, Jeremy Souder (Tammi) of Pekin and Jessica Edge (Shawn) of Pekin; his grandchildren, Casey Rose Bishop (Easton), Jaden James Cheatwood, Jazlyn Blair Edge and Jaxie Isabelle Edge; his stepgrandchildren, Jessica Batt (Cory) and Cheyce Thomas (Logan); his sisters, Glenda Davis (John) of Owasso and Tami Nash (Roger) of Mt. Olive, Alabama; and his fiancée Susan Collins of Greenville, Indiana..
