With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Danny Ray Herron Sr. of Pekin, Indiana, born in Big Stone Gap, Virginia, who passed away on November 18, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Herron and Audrey Gibson Herron; his brothers, Bob, Stan, Dewey Jr., Leroy and John Herron; and his grandson Levi Pangburn.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Jordan Herron; his children, Danny Herron Jr. (Kayla) of Shepherdsville, Erick Wayne Herron (Camden) of Pekin, Maurita Sue Wrighthouse of Salem, Cindy Thomas (Paul) of Salem, Dana Pangburn (Chris) of Henryville and Ericka Herron of Pekin; and his siblings, Jim Herron of Abingdon and Carol Kilburn of Wooten. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
