He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry Beckett and Warrena Countress Beckett (Minton); his siblings, Jim, Bob, Bill, Joe Beckett and Helen McVay; and his grandsons, Samuel Morgan and Zeke Beckett.
He is survived by: his wife Lynn Gray Beckett (Johnson) of Pekin; his child Stacy Colson; and his siblings, Don Beckett of Georgia, John Beckett of Pekin, Joan Pixley of Pekin and Mary Brooks of Salem. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Christian Church Youth.
