William Hinton Ravenscraft Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Hinton Ravenscraft of Patriot, Indiana, who passed away on December 21, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary W. Ravenscraft Ravenscraft (Brown) and Charles Ravenscraft; his sister Linda Welling; his son-in-law Darrell Yocum; and his great grandchild Owen Lee Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara "Bobbie" Ravenscraft (Weber) of Patriot, IN; his children, Melissa Davis (Sam) of Vevay, IN, Rachel Ravenscraft of Patriot, IN and William Joe "BJ" Ravenscraft (Heather) of Rising Sun, IN; his grandchildren, Sam Davis (Tina), Mariah Davis (Kenyon Bledsoe), Cameron Davis, Lucas Davis, Charlie Yocum, Austin Yocum, Alex Yocum, Alisabeth Ravenscraft, William N. Ravenscraft and Eli Ravenscraft; and his great grandchildren, Angel Hopkins, Jamison Clark, Spencer Davis and Nova Bledsoe. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Markland Funeral Home (327 N High St, Rising Sun, IN 47040). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 at the Rising Sun New Cemetery.
