He is survived by: his children, Kim Alvis (Mike) of Sharpsburg, Georgia, Kris Purcell (Bryan) of Humble, Megan Epler (Yale) of Patoka, Miranda Andrews (Brad) of Mt. Carmel and Scott Kolb; his grandchildren, Madelyn Luce (James), Abby Segrest (Grayson), Rachel Alvis and James Epler; and his great grandchild Camryn Segrest.
