He was predeceased by: his father Richard E. Meier; his grandparents, Arthur, Pauline Hunt (Hoover), Floyd and Eva Meier (Alsmon); his aunts and uncles, Jane McDowell (Hunt), Milly Braun (Meier), Frances Landrus (Meier), Jack Schlottman, Landon Warren, Richard Braun, Jerry Dyson and Jerry Armstrong; his cousins, Brenda Harmon and Dennis Braun; and his stepgrandmother Cleo Meier.
He is survived by: his mother Janice Meier (Hunt); his brothers, Jeff (Carol), Brett (Sharon) and Clint Meier; his son Matthew Meier; his nieces and nephews, Max, Natalie, Josh, Jacob Meier and Emily Nation (Matt); and his aunts and uncles, Barbara Schlottman, Jeanette Warren, Wanda Armstrong, Julia Davidson (Jay), Marjorie Dyson, Robert Meier (Virginia), Tom Meier (Beverly) and Bob McDonald. He is also survived by three great nieces and one great nephew.
