He was predeceased by: his parents, Randall "Pete" Armstrong and Camille Armstrong; his wife Babara Armstrong; his son Randall Armstrong; his grandson Jordan Lee Armstrong; and his siblings, William Jack Harvey and Margaret Comer-Lehne.
He is survived by: his daughters, Ingrid Robinson (George) and Sharon Armstrong (Bob Toth); his stepchildren, Misty Humphrey (Janet Kimberly Fahrni), Sam Humphrey and Katherine Sanderson (James Vincent); his grandchildren, Desiree, Ravin, Jess, Macray, Dawson and Megan; and his great grandchildren, Arielle and Isaac. He is also survived by 10 step-grandchildren, 10 step great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions can be given to Retired Military Veterans 8560 W. SR 165 Owensville, IN 47665 in honor of Howard.
