He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldon and Nora Marvell (Speight); his son Richard Marvell; and his siblings, Mary Esarey, Martha Trader, Elnora Sollman, Frank, Grover and Ray Marvell.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Marvell (Knight) of Patoka; his children, Dennis Marvell of Patoka, Jeff Marvell of Owensville and Carla Fink (Mike) of Oxford, FL; his daughter-in-law Sharon Marvell of Owensville; his grandchildren, Dustin Marvell, Shaylyn Marvell, Aaron Marvell (Katie), Ashtyn Fink and Hayden Fink; his great grandchildren, Kayden, Kyle, Evelyn and Elaine; his sisters, Jean Mutchman of Arizona, Josephine Caskey of Newburgh, Carolyn Ellerbrook of Patoka and Lucille Pauley of Princeton; and his sister-in-law Ida Marvell of Patoka. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
