He was predeceased by: his brother Kenny Bruce. He is survived by: his wife Corellen of Patoka; his sons, Robert W. Bruce (Caryn) of Carollton, TX and Edward "Eddie" Ray Bruce of Frisco, TX; his stepchildren, Mark Myrick (Kay) of Evansville and Kristela "Kris" Prunty of Patoka; his sister Mary Ellen Mason of Bell, FL; his grandchildren, Amanda Mahoney (David), Daniel Bruce (Yvette), Aaron Bruce (Liz), Bethany Bruce, David Bruce, Emily Valdez (Johnathan), Jennifer Oberst (Mike), Jill Scheirer (Tim), Emily Myrick and Jordyn Prunty; and his great grandchildren, Samuel Mark Oberst, Cloe Marie Oberst and Peter Bruce.
