With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Armstrong of Patoka, Indiana, born in Knoxville, Tennessee, who passed away on September 15, 2020 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Beecher Burton, Jr. and Katherine Brown (Rigsby) of Virginia; her son Randall Armstrong; her grandson Jordan Armstrong; and her siblings, Larry, Terry, Teddy Brown and Nancy Blackmon.
She is survived by: her husband Howard Lee Armstrong of Patoka; her children, Sam Wesley Humphrey (Maria Yulidsa) of Patoka, Katherine Marie Sanderson (James Vincent) of Cosby, TN, Misty Lynn Humphrey (Janet Kimberly Fahrni) of Wasilla, Ingrid Rosemarie Robinson (George) of Fort Branch and Sharon Elisabeth Armstrong (Bob Toth) of Fort Branch; and her siblings, Sonny Brown, Tommy Brown, Linda Yarbrough, Danny Brown, Ronnie Brown, Debbie Thompson and Johnny Brown. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
