He was predeceased by: his father George Sr. Doughty; his wife Shirley Doughty (Modglin); and his son Bill Doughty Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Rita Dragoo (Tad); his granddaughters, Laura Mickler (Alex), Andrea Doughty, Rachel Leatherwood (Corey), Shelby DeHaven (Zachary) and Cortney Stephens (Cameron); and his siblings, Ferrell Doughty, Jack Doughty Sr. and Alta Renner. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Little Red Door, 2311 W. Jackson St., Muncie, IN 47303.
