He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Calhoun and Mary Calhoun (Russell); and his granddaughter Jessie Calhoun. He is survived by: his wife Sue; his children, Kris (Chris) of Waukesha, WI, Debi Terrell (Tim) of Angola, IN, Patti Sebanc (Dan) of Indianapolis, IN, Judi Calhoun (Rob Sitzes) of Muncie, IN and Jill King (Scott) of Brownsburg, IN; his siblings, Pete Calhoun (Rachel) of Farmland, IN, Carol Gastineau of Farmland, IN and Dolly Sprague (Vern) of Sequim, WA; and his grandchildren, Greg Calhoun (Danielle), Matt Calhoun, Becky Calhoun, Megan Cooper (Kyle), Zach Terrell (Kirsten), Abby Myers (Jake), D. J. Sebanc, Erin Sebanc-Johnson, Patrick Sebanc, Nick Sebanc, Aimee Cota (Chase) and Samantha King. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
