She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl J. Hernly and Audra Faye Hernly (Lamb). She is survived by: her husband Rodney K. Jones; her children, Tony N. Thompson (Shannon) of Middletown, Indiana and Karla K. Romack (Patrick) of Muncie, IN; her stepchildren, Rodney Bergbauer (Mary) of Portland, IN, Scott Jones (Kelly) of Illinois, Jessie Jones (Cheryl) of Farmland, Indiana, Teresa Smith of Naples, FL, Lisa Martin of Bluffton, IN and Robin Ginger (John) of Bluffton, IN; and her grandchildren, Robert Layne and Rebecca Layne.
