He was predeceased by: his parents, Gierluf Jenson and Clara Marie Patty (Hall); his wife Mary Catherine Patty (Hall); his son Jerry Wayne Patty; his siblings, Vernon Patty and Maxine Patty; and his sister-in-law Martha Ruble.
He is survived by: his son Larry Patty of Muncie, IN; his grandchildren, Mary Ann Hines (Tony) of Muncie, IN, Jamie Patty of Albany, IN and Travis Patty of Winchester, IN; and his cousin Joe Greene. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
