He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Munday and Gussie Munday; and his siblings, William Munday, Joseph Munday, Marcus Faulkner, Margaret Robertson and Mary Chelf.

He is survived by: his spouse Regina Munday; his children, John Munday, Bruce Munday, Dunkirk Munday, George Munday, Susan Ice, Muncie Munday and Martha Munday; and his sister Zora Tharp of Louisville, KY. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren with one on the way, and several nieces & nephews.
