The memory of Lloyd Elkins of Paris Crossing, Indiana, born in Seymour, Indiana, who passed away on October 3, 2024 at the age of 79, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Elkins and Hazel Elkins (Blakenship); his sisters, June Elkins and Elaine Sawyer; his grandson Calab Elkins; his great grandchild Madalyn Lucas; and his sister-in-law Marilyn Elkins.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Elkins; his children, Jeremy Elkins (Mary Beth), Matt Elkins (Kelly) and Amber Johnson (Chad); his stepchildren, Marshal Royalty (Erin), Mitchell Royalty (Pam), LaDonna Simpson (David) and Donita Layman (Phil); and his siblings, Larry Elkins, Roy Elkins and Eloise Brumett (Lloyd). He is also survived by twenty-five grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 8th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Voss & Sons Funeral & Cremation Services (316 N Chestnut St, Seymour, IN 47274). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 9th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. Zion Cemetery - Commiskey (7520 550 W, Commiskey, IN 47227).
