He was predeceased by: his parents, Eunice Silcox and Herman T. Silcox. He is survived by: his significant other Sherry; his children, Timothy (Sally), James (Della), Melinda (John), Larry (Katrina), Karrie and Jackie; and his brother Mike. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.
