She was predeceased by: her parents, James P Melton and Nora Mae White; her children, Eldo, Elmo and Joyce Vincent; and her sister Goldie Sherron.

She is survived by: her son Denny Lockhart Paoli (Linda). She is also survived by five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.
