She was predeceased by: her parents, William L Chestnut and Maxine L Zink Chestnut. She is survived by: her husband Forest Higgs; her daughters, Kathy L and Kayann (Jeff); and her siblings, William "Bill" (Vida), Barbara L, Debra L Suddarth Mitchell (Steve) and Sissy. She is also survived by four grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren.
